Avengers Infinity War SHOCK: Soul Stone planet Vormir was in previous Thor movies

Up until the release of the Marvel epic fans were still speculating over the location of the Soul Stone.

But come Avengers Infinity War we discovered the gem was located on Vormir, a remote and barren planet.

There Thanos came across the Red Skull, now the Stonekeeper, before the Mad Titan sacrificed Gamora to obtain the Soul Stone.

But was this really the first time we saw Vormir in an MCU movie?

Reddit user GrandMoff_Harry has seen their post upvoted over seven thousand times having spotted the Soul Stone’s planet in previous movies.

Vormir, which appears to be part of an eclipse, is seen alongside its moon in both Thor and Thor Ragnarok.

In fact you can see Vormir’s moon blocking out a nearby star in the scene with Thanos in Avengers Infinity War.

Meanwhile the actual use of the Soul Stone still remains a mystery, although a big clue appeared in a home release trailer for Avengers Infinity War.

Knowing the Soul Stone can control life and death, surely this is the key to reversing Thanos’ snap and bringing the dead back to life.

Nevertheless directors the Russo brothers have teased a great cost to do this.

So the most obvious option is for the surviving Avengers to trade places with the dead.

Fans are especially concerned for Iron Man and Captain America, wondering if they will both kick the bucket.
