Avengers Infinity War: SOUL STONE finally REVEALED in NEW TV spot – WATCH

During the last 18 Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, released over the course of a decade, the location of five out of six Infinity Stones have been revealed.

Now with Avengers Infinity War arriving at the end of the month – and Thanos in hot pursuit of those powerful gems – fans are still in the dark concerning the location of the Soul Stone.

However a new TV spot for the movie has been released with a blink-and-you’ll-miss it first look at the gem.

The shot in question shows Thanos using the Space Stone to travel to Wakanda in a puff of smoke.

However only a taller version of the trailer which can be viewed on Marvel Studios’ Twitter feed reveals which stones are in his Infinity Gauntlet.

Aside from the already acquired blue Space Stone and purple Power Stone previously seen in other trailers, Thanos also has the red Reality Stone and orange Soul Stone.

It’s also possible he has the green Time Stone – which would sit in the Infinity Gauntlet’s thumb, but it’s not clear from the footage.

Nevertheless Marvel fans should be very excited to know the Soul Stone will in fact appear in Avengers Infinity War.

As to where Thanos finds it? Perhaps it’s located on his home planet of Titan, which appears in a number of trailers and TV spots with it’s orange skies and ruins.

Fans may also point out that a previous trailer sees Thanos being held off gallantly by Captain America and he only has the Space and Power Stones.

However this wouldn’t be the first time that Marvel have edited their trailers to hide spoilers.

Just look at Thor’s eye in the Thor Ragnarok trailers and Comic Con Avengers Infinity War teaser.

Lastly then, why is Thanos arriving in Wakanda with at least four our of six Infinity Stones?

Well Marvel boss Kevin Feige has confirmed the film’s final act will take place here since Vision – who has the Mind Stone in his head – is being protected in one last stand.

As for the Time Stone, Screen Rant reckons if Thanos doesn’t have it maybe Ebony Maw, a member of his Black Order, has cunningly betrayed him and taken the Time Stone from Doctor Strange for himself?

Avengers Infinity War will be released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2018.
