Avengers leak: Spider-Man SINISTER SIX villain revealed in NEW set video
Are the Sinister Six finally about to surf onto screen?
All the recent speculation has been focussed on reports that Jake Gyllenhaal was being lined up to to play the movie’s big bad, Mysterio. But recent leaks last months pointed to a major set piece in Europe’s wateriest city and the introduction of the Marvel comicbooks’ wettest supervillain.
This new video has apparently just confirmed that the first of the superbad Six is about to ‘wave’ hello to the big screen.
Scroll down to watch Tom Holland ‘accidentally’ reveal the new MCU villain.
At first glance it seems like Tom Holland has been back up to his old tricks. The young British star has become notorious for leaking Avengers spoilers but this one, to be fair, was happening behind his back.
The actor posted a video promoting a chance for fans to come on set and watch him shooting stunts. In the background a stuntman can be seen blasted away by a giant wave.
Young Tom does his best to act surprised but this is certainly an official Marvel teaser disguised as an innocent fan message.
The video not only confirms one of the locations for Far From Home, it apparently confirms the big screen debut of Hydro-Man.

The background is covered with posters for Venice, while the video is tagged: “I do all my own stunts. Head to the link in my bio to find out how YOU could be hanging out with me on set and watching ME do all my own stunts.”
This is clearly a joke since the poor stuntman can be seen take the full blast of a huge watery blow.
Fans immediately made comments like: “Is that Hydro-Man in action?” “Spoiler man, spoiler man, shares all the spoilers that he can.” “Did you realize you just spoiled Far From Home?”
Rather like Holland’s ‘accidental’ reveal of the Far From Home title, Marvel seems to have embraced their young star’s lack of discretion and turned it into a cheeky way to comminucate with fans.
Back in July MCU Exchange posted a report that early storyboards for the movie had already revealed plans for this villain.
It said: “According to the rumour, some concept art was presented somewhere that featured Spider-Man taking on Hydro-Man as he web-swings through Venice, Italy. This is exciting because I can already imagine a setpiece where Hydro-Man turns the canals of Venice into a city-wide weapon.”
This latest video clip of a Venice set with a Spider-Man stuntman and a giant wave must surely have confirmed this is, indeed, true.
Spider-Man Far From Home is out in the US on July 5, 2019. No UK date has been confirmed
