Brigitte Macron wows in bold pink coat for Paris day out with Emmanuel Macron

Brigitte Macron, well-known for her fashionable look, has embraced the beginning of autumn in perfect sartorial style.

Pictured on an afternoon out today with her husband and President of France, Emmanuel Macron, the First Lady wore a stunning pink coat.

The immaculate coat boasted a broad collar, trim pockets and fell above the knee.

Stylish Brigitte teamed the colourful garment with more neutral tones, which really helped the pink item stand out.

She donned black trousers and black boots as well as a high-necked collarless white shirt.

Brigitte accessorised with chunky rings and bracelets but did not carry a bag with her for the occasion.

Her blond hair fell in elegant waves around her shoulders as she and Macron were snapped affectionally holding hands.

The President wore a smart navy suit and navy tie, which served to perfectly set off Brigitte’s colourful wardrobe choice.

The couple were photographed at the Villa Viardot as part of the French Heritage Days in Bougival, near Paris.

The 19th-century property is set to become part of a 15 million euro restoration plan to make it a centre dedicated to romantic music for 2022, reported French news site, Le Point.

Fittingly, the Macrons met with lyric singer Jorge Chamine during the visit as well as French TV host Stephane Bern and French Culture Minister Francoise Nyssen.

Brigitte was the only one of the group to choose such a bold block-colour coat.

Earlier this week, the First Lady stunned when she showed off her legs in an above-the-knee dress.

Showing off her age-defying figure, the 65-year-old wore a stunning, Japanese-style mini dress as she accompanied her husband at the Palace of Versailles. 

The French power couple were hosting Japan’s Crown Prince Naruhito for lavish dinner at the opulent palace on the outskirts of Paris.

Showing off her slender legs, which were covered in nude tights, the dress came to just above Brigitte’s knees.

Oriental in style, the dress was a pale purple hue and was emblazoned with floral detailing.

Clinging to Brigitte’s figure, the dress featured slimming panelling down the middle, a high neck and long sleeves.

The French First Lady matched the purple dress with a purple bracelet, adding a touch more colour to the quirky attire.

On her feet, Brigitte elongated her legs in a pair of shiny, silver pointed- toe stilettos, showing off her more edgy side.

Greeting the Japanese Prince in the opulent halls of Versailles, she carried with her a small silver clutch bag, matching her shiny shoes.
