Camilla Duchess of Cornwall beams with happiness as she continues Wales visit with Charles
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, joined husband Prince Charles, 69, in Llangwm, west Wales today.
The royal was lucky enough to enjoy a day in the sunshine and dressed accordingly for the warm temperatures.
Prince Charles’ wife wore a simple blue dress which stopped at her knee and featured elbow-length sleeves.
She paired this with a heavy silver necklace and classic Ray Ban sunglasses.
The mum-of-two added a modern touch with her shoes, which had a nude pointed toe and low wooden block heel.
A pair of pearl drop earrings could be seen hanging from her ears.
As usual, Camilla’s hair was blow dried to perfection in her usual short style.
She kept her makeup simple, opting for a pink lipstick.
Charles and Camilla enjoyed a visit to a church, where they took in a floral display, and a look at traditional oyster fishing methods as part of their day out.
The royal couple started their visit to Wales yesterday. They visited the Second Severn Crossing, over the river Severn.
Camilla wore a green, white and orange floral print dress for the first day.
She carried a brown leather clutch bag in one arm, and wore a string of pearls around her neck.
Last week, Camilla stepped out on her own to attend The Royal Society of Literature “40 Under 40” fellow induction at The British Library.
The blonde 70-year-old slipped into a purple dress with a pretty gold paisley patter on the pleated skirt.
The richly coloured dressed evoked a royal tradition.
Purple is associated with royalty, and one of Britain’s greatest ever queens.
Elizabeth I is said to have forbidden anyone except her and her close family to wear the colour.
One thing Camilla wears often is a pair of classic pumps from Chanel.
While many may assume this is simply Camilla’s favourite style, there is said to be a deep significance to them.
The two interlocking C’s, a symbol of the brand, spell out Charles and Camilla – adding a romantic touch to the Duchess’ outfits.
