Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall goes barefoot on beach for intimate walk with Prince Charles
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, 70, is currently in County Kerry with her husband Prince Charles, just one of the stops on their royal tour of Ireland.
With a jam-packed schedule including openings, charity visits and state engagements, they shared a rare moment of peace at they walked on an empty beach together.
The couple have been married for 13 years and appear to be just as in love as ever before.
A nod to the Emerald Isle itself, the Duchess of Cornwall looked stunning in an emerald green jacket and flowing skirt ensemble.
Looking peaceful and relaxed, she draped a taupe shawl around her neck, which blew whimsically in the sea breeze.
The striking jacket was tailored perfectly, with two panels running from the shoulders to the bottom of the piece.
Four oversized green buttons kept the jacket closed as the couple battled the wind.
Coming to the knee, the Duchess’ matched perfectly, tightly pleated in panels resembling the pleating on a kilt.
She accessorised the simple and sophisticated look with a beautiful silver brooch on her left lapel, similar in colour to her delicate shawl.
Dressing the look up, she wore a large pair of pearl drop-down earrings and a gold bracelet on her left wrist.
Her volumous, blonde blow-out, was taken to new heights in the wind, but still looked perfectly coiffed.
She finished her look with makeup to match the laid-back occasion, with just a flick of mascara and eyeliner, some pink blusher and a pink lip to match.
Walking on Derrynane beach, Camilla chose to forgo shoes all together, with her bare feet embedded firmly in the sand.
Sticking to royal protocol no matter the circumstances, Camilla kept her nude tights on as she strolled without shoes.
At her side, Prince Charles wore a dapper grey suit with colourful pink, black and cream tie. With lavender shirt and pink flower on his lapel.
The couple are currently on a four-day tour of Northern and the Republic of Ireland.
Yesterday, Camilla stepped out in a cornflower blue dress coat, as she and Charles visited a guide dog centre in Cork.
Both known animal lovers, Camilla and Charles were in their element as they played with guide dog puppies and dogs in training.
Later in the day, the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall swapped dogs for fish, as they unveiled a plaque at the English Market in Cork.
With Prince Charles looking dapper in a pinstripe blue suit and blue tie to match Camilla’s, the couple howled with laughter and squirmed as met with fishmonger Pat O’Connell.
