Camilla Duchess of Cornwall matches surroundings in florals at Sandringham Flower Show
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, 71, chose an unusual floral print dress for her day out at Sandringham today.
Prince Charles’ wife stood out in a heavily patterened floral print dress – an appropriate choice considering she was attending the Sandringham Flower Show.
The dress featured three quarter length sleeves, and finished just below Camilla’s knee.
Fitting loosely and made of a light material, the dress was clearly chosen to keep the Duchess cool in the searing heat.
She paired the dress with a silver necklace, a step away from her usual choice of a string of pearls.
Protecting herself from the sun, Camilla carried a small white parasol which she put up when she felt like some shade.
She also carried a pair of tortoise shell sunglasses in her hand in case the sunshine got too bright.
Camilla wore a pair of tan leather shoes from Sole Bliss, a pair she has been photographed in several times recently.
Her hair was blowdried in to her favourite feathered curl style.
The mum-of-two kept her makeup simple, opting for heavy mascara and nude lipstick.
Camilla has been busy in recent weeks, and just yesterday enjoyed an ice cream on the Isle of Wight.
Prince Charles’ wife attended without her husband, which is not unusual – as a senior working royal she her diary is full with appearances and events.
Keeping cool in the intense summer heat, Camilla wore a float white dress.
The dress, which had cropped sleeves, came down just past her knees.
A deep V neckline showed off her string of pearls to their best advantage, while a ruffle added interest to the otherwise simple outfit.
Camilla recently celebrated her birthday while on a tour of Cornwall with Prince Charles.
They visited local businesses, food markets and local attractions together, with Camilla enjoying a birthday cake on her special day.
She stuck to her classic style of loose fitting dresses for the break, re-wearing one favourite dress while she was there.
Camilla’s dress was cream with white polka dots, designed by British couturier Fiona Clare.
Falling just below the Duchess’ knees, it featured a slim-fitted waist and flowing, pleated skirt.
