Camilla Duchess of Cornwall stuns in cream, giggling with Meghan Markle at Royal Ascot
Camilla Duchess of Cornwall, 70, stepped out today at Royal Ascot in a all-cream outfit.
The five-day horse racing event if the most valuable and prestigious racing event in the country, attended by the Queen herself.
Joining other members of the Royal Family, including husband Prince Charles, new daughter-in-law Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, she wowed in another ethereal number, this time in cream.
Looking radiant and wearing a beaming smile, she chatted and giggled with new Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, with the two looking very comfortable together.
An almost perfect match to her own blonde locks, Camilla wore am elegant cream dress coat, probably not a comfortable option for the scorching heat.
The coat, heavy in material, came down to Camilla’s knees, featuring large pleats from the hips down and oversized cuffs.
As per Royal Enclosure protocol, the mother-of-two wore a wide-brimmed hat, also in the same shade of cream.
The delicate and understated hat was made from a woven material and featured a large floral design, also in cream.
In-keeping with her ethereal attire, she wore a pair of cream gloves, possibly in preparation for all the hand shaking she would be undergoing.
On her neck Camilla wore her signature and well-worn stacked pearl necklace, featuring rows of pears held together by a silver pendant.
Matching her beloved pearl necklace, she wore a simple pair of pearl drop-down earrings, also worn on many occasions by the 70-year-old.
Her blonde locks blended in with her cream ensemble, freshly blow dried and framing her tanned face.
She wore a slight smoky eye and rose lipstick, along with some pale pink blush.
Camilla tied the look together with a pair of simple cream and brown court heels, featuring a stacked heel.
A Royal Ascot veteran, Camilla was spotted spending lots of time with her new daughter-in-law Meghan Markle, possibly giving advice to the Royal Ascot newbie.
There are many strict rules women in the Royal Enclosure have to adhere to, including no bardot necklines, off-the-shoulder dresses or anything cut above the knee.
Normally a fan of light, pastel colours, Camilla’s cream outfit echoed her ethereal white ensemble she wore yesterday at the Order of the Garter.
Camilla joined the Queen, Prince Charles and other high-ranking royals for the prestigious service, which sees the Queen welcome new Knights into the Order of the Garter.
Glistening in the sun, Camilla’s white simple shift dress came to the knee and featured large pleats falling down from the hips, cut in an elegant v-neck exposing her décolletage
She covered the dress with a stunning black and off-white embroidered jacket, cinched in at the waist.
