To make matters slightly confusing, there is a father-son duo thrown into the ring.

The villain known as Drago refers to Ivan Drago, played by Dolph Lundgren in the fourth Rocky movie, released in1985.

Lundgren is set to reprise his role as Drago in Creed II, adding another layer of tension between the generations of boxers.

Which actor plays Drago’s son?

A Romanian boxer named Florian Munteanu is set to play Viktor Drago.

Drago is the son of Rocky-franchise villain Ivan (Dolph Lundgren) who killed Creed’s father, Apollo in 1985 sequel Rocky IV.

Munteanu’s Instagram feed is enough to make even the most swole gym-goer feel inadequate.

Munteanu was raised in Germany and attended the University of Munich to study studied sports, media, and event management.

His family is full of sports enthusiasts and Munteanu’s own father is (perhaps not surprisingly) an avid boxer.

Standing at 6’4” in height and weighing 245 pounds (111.13kg) gives him an intimidating presence which certainly suits his upcoming role as Viktor Drago.
