Crown Princess Victoria in pictures: Swedish princess meets Queen Rania of Jordan

Crown Princess Victoria, 41, and Prince Daniel of Sweden, 45, arrived at Amman Civil Airport on Monday for a royal tour of Jordan.

On Wednesday, they were welcomed by King Abdullah and Queen Rania of Jordan at Al Husseiniya Palace.

Pictures released by the Jordanian Royal Palace show the royal couples talking together in the capital Amman.

According to the Royal Hashemite Court, Their Royal Highnesses discussed the strong ties of friendship between the two countries and the latest developments in the Palestinian-Israeli peace process.

The Swedish princess wore a busy navy blue and lilac printed dress which featured feminine ruffles at the waist.

She teamed the look with navy blue suede heels and wore her hair in a simple and elegant low bun.

The Queen of Jordan, 48, chose a pale pink three-quarter length dress from Ralph & Russo for the royal engagement.

Her silk organza dress featured stripes in sheer fabric and a large bow at the collar. A pleated skirt and matching belt competed her outfit.

The modern royal wore an Apple watch on her wrist and carried a small pink clutch bag.

During their visit to the country, the Swedish royal couple visited a school at the Baqa’a Palestinian refugee camp, about 20 kilometres north of the Jordanian capital.

They were also given a tour of the Amman Citadel and attended a dinner at the Swedish Embassy in Amman.
