Deadpool 2 digital and Blu-ray release date, bonus extras, extended cut, Hitler baby scene

Could Deadpool be any ruder and more riotous or ridiculous?

Of course he could.

As always, merrily breaking the fourth wall and every rule of hllywood and filmmaking, the announcement for the upcoming home entertainment release of the sensational sequel has as much fun as it can.

The Deadpool 2 Super Duper $@%!#& Cut (to give it its full, oficial title) just released the teaser promo trailer and it is not taking itself very seriously.

Celine Dion’s epic Deadpool 2 anthem, Ashes, wails over the short clip.

Only three words are used to describe the upcoming release: “Longer. Actionier. Spandexier.”

Most fans will agree that already says it all. However they will be reassured to know that the home entertainment version comes packed with bonus features plus the actual movie is extended with an additional 15 minutes of action and jokes!

Fans will be eager to know if the highly controversial Deadpool 2 Hitler baby deleted scene will be restored.

Early test audiences found the end credits moment when Deadpool time travels back to Hitler’s nursey and leans in to strangle the baby in its crib to be a little disturbing and it was removed from teh theatrical release.

There is also a rumoured extended version of Deadpool’s suicide montage after Vanessa’s death.

Deadpool 2 will be released on Digital platforms on Agust 7 and DVD, Blu-ray and Ultra 4K HD on August 21. These are US dates only. No UK dates have been confirmed.
