Deadpool 2 Easter eggs: How many Easter eggs, post credit scenes and cameos are there?
Deadpool is back again in a brand new film that sees the merc-with-a-mouth take on the time-traveling Cable.
The first movie was a huge success, breaking records despite its R-rating.
Ryan Reynolds returns to break the fourth-wall and fans can’t get enough of his quips as he forms the X-Force.
Here are all the easter eggs, cameos and post-credits scenes for Deadpool 2.
Easter Eggs
Perhaps the biggest elephant in the room for Deadpool 2 is the recasting of T.J. Miller.
Accusations of assault were made against Miller just before the announcement of Deadpool 2.
Fans were quick to call on Fox to replace Miller in the same way Ridley Scott replaced Kevin Spacey with Christopher Plummer in All the Money in the World, however this did not happen.
Miller does not play a huge role and only has some 10 minutes of screen time, however the allegations are addressed in the movie in an easter egg of sorts, in which a news ticker seen on a TV in one scene reads that Christopher Plummer respectfully turned down a Deadpool 2 role.
Another easter egg came in the form of a name drop, as Deadpool 2 may have teased a major X-Men villain.
Dopinder is back again to play a prominent role
Mr Sinister’s role was hinted at when the orphanage that tortures young mutants is called Essex school, a reference to Mr Sinister’s Essex Corp.
Deadpool 2 also makes reference to the various uniform colours that he has worn throughout his comic-book runtime.
First when he dons a yellow and black shirt in reference to his time on the X-men and then again, when Firefist unleashes his full power on Deadpool, we get to see what it would look like if Deadpool wore his grey suit seen during his time in the X-Force.
While Stan Lee, who created scores of Marvel superheroes, appears in the latest movie, though not in a cameo as per his appearance in the first film.
Instead, he appears in graffiti in Deadpool 2. The Marvel movie also makes reference to the comic book history of its characters – and it is thought there are more than 30 Easter Eggs in total.
Deadpool is well known for breaking the 4th wall
How many post-credits scenes?
As with every other superhero movie to be released in recent years, a post-credits scene was expected from Deadpool 2.
And the movie does not disappoint as it soars past other competitors by featuring five post-credits scenes, starting off with Deadpool collecting the fully working time-travel device from Cable.
The next four post-credits scenes feature Deadpool traveling through time to correct some of the more devastating things that have happened in the movie, as well as in other movies.
Deadpool travels back to save his loved one Vanessa, before she can be assassinated.
Negasonic Teenage Warhead returns
Next, Deadpool saved Peter before he can tumble to his death in the botched parachute scene with the X-Force.
Moving onto a different universe, Deadpool then travels to the X-Men Origins: Wolverine universe to shoot another version of Deadpool (also played by Ryan Reynolds), remarking: “Just cleaning up the timeline.”
Finally, Deadpool arrives just in time to stop his alter-ego, the real-life Ryan Reynolds, from signing on to be the star in DC’s Green Lantern movie. Deadpool promptly shoots Reynolds in the head and says: “You’re welcome, Canada.”

Who made a cameo in Deadpool 2?
Deadpool is notorious for his fourth-wall-breaking hijinks, but Deadpool 2 offers fans a whole host of famous cameo appearances from the outside world.
Some are so obvious it is hard to miss, but others have become almost invisible.
Here is a full list of cameo appearances:
Matt Damon – Appears as a redneck discussing toilet tissue when Cable (Josh Brolin) first arrives. Fans may find it hard to spot him as he is covered in prosthetic make-up and a fake beer-gut.
Alan Tudyk – The second redneck discussing tissue is the British actor of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
There are a number of surprise cameos in Deadpool 2
Brad Pitt – Invisible for most of his appearance, Vanisher, is none other than Hollywood A-list Brad Pitt. Seen only for a split-second when he is electrocuted during Deadpool’s poorly-hatched plan, Pitt reportedly did the cameo for free, asking only for a coffee in return – though he requested Ryan Reynolds be the one to go and get it for him.
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick – Writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick both have cameos too, but because they aren’t widely recognised faces, they were hard to spot.
They appear as a news helicopter pilot and his cameraman, Reese and Wernick respectively, who get covered in Shatterstar’s (Lewis Tan) green entrails.
Hugh Jackman – Reprises his Wolverine role when Deadpool travels back in time to kill the Deadpool from X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
