Dublin 'MAJOR INCIDENT': Police LOCKDOWN near Tallaght hospital – 'Leave the area!'
Police have cornered off a large area by Tallaght Cross near the Square Shipping centre.
A garda spokeswoman told the Irish Sun: “Gardai are currently at an incident at Tallaght Cross, Tallaght on the 19th September.
“No further information is available at this stage.”
One resident told Dublin Live: “There are emergency services including an ambulance and fire brigade here, and gardai are asking the crowds to return home or leave the area.”
Gardai are on the scene and a cordon is in place around the Tallaght Cross apartments.
Residents in the Belgard Square East area say access has been closed off from the area toward Tallaght Cross West.
This area has a number of medical services and an Aldi shop.
Gardai have confirmed the incident has been resolved and the scene is being cleared.
