Britons Thandie Newton, 44, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, 34, Claire Foy, 33, and Vanessa Kirby, 29, all stepped out in divine looks, with strapless being the common theme among the ladies.

Claire, star of The Crown, chose something a little different for her red carpet appearance, shunning a dress and choosing a jumpsuit with a long train.

The Brits weren’t the only ones dressed to impress, with A List names such as Jessica Biel, 35 and Nicole Kidman, 50, looking stunning.

Jessica wore a shimmering silver gown which featured a deep neckline and thigh high split on the leg.

Nicole’s Calvin Klein dress was a vibrant red and had a pretty silver strap. The Big Little Lies actress offset her gown with baby pink sandals.

Her co-star Shailene Woodley, 25, looked stunning in a forest green velvet dress which revealed plenty of cleavage.

Susan Sarandon, 70, also turned heads in her navy dress thanks to the hint of cleavage on show.

Featuring ruffles around the neckline, the dress was otherwise plain and fitted closely to Susan’s body.

Close friend of Meghan Markle, Priyanka Chopra, 35, opted for bold white dress.

The padded white gown featured a train of features and silver fan shaped embellishment all over.

It wasn’t all positive on the red carpet, however, and plenty of those hitting the red carpet made some serious fashion errors.

From flashing their knickers to showing extreme cleavage, a selection of women did not hit the right mark.

Heidi Klum, 44, clashed with the red carpet in a dress of the same colour.

But sadly, this was not the worst of it, as her dress choice, with its extreme thigh slit and ultra-low neckline, showed off far too much flesh.

She paired the dress with a pair of bizarre wooden hoop earrings and matching wooden bangles.

Sarah Hyland, 26, was another star who showed more than she bargained for on the night, revealing her knickers in an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.
