Han Solo movie HUGE plot twist revealed by soundtrack list: Has Disney trolled fans again?

The Last Jedi caused division and some derision among fans like never before.

Love it or loathe it, one thing that can’t be denied is that the many of the trailers had huge fun misdirecting audiences with cleverly cut scenes and samples from conversations which implied plot points at odds with what was finally revaled in the movie.

It looks like the Han Solo movie has been doing the same, which at least is fitting for a movie about the galaxy’s greatest rogue.

The official track list for the soundtrack reveals some very surprising plot points.

The last full length trailers ad various teasers have started to flesh out the world of the Star wars Anthology spin-off.

Alden Ehrenreich’s young Han is shown being tempted into a life a crime by Daniel Glover’s Lando and Woody Harrelson’s Becket.

They all take on a job for Paul Bettany’s scarred and menacing crime lord and everything appears to building up to a huge and dramatic heist on board a high-speed train.

Except it isn’t.

Composer John Powell just posted an image of the soundtrack’s full list of 20 musical pieces.

Sitting an number six is ‘Train Heist.’ What many thought would be the climax of the film is in fact an early scene.

Instead it appears that the film will build towards events on the most mysterious planet setting of all.

Many of the pieces have enigmatic titles with little clue to characters or locations but track number 19’s ‘Testing Allegiance’ clearly sets up some kind of big turning point while number 17 is named ‘Savareen Stand-off.’ 

Last year leaks and reports claimed that the film would take place across five planets: Corellia, Kessel, Iridium, Savareen and Vandor.

Almost nothing is known of Savareen in Star Wars Canon. Legends listings only say: “Savareen was a planet located in the Outer Rim’s Savareen sector. It was known for its brandy.  Savareen brandy was a strong alcoholic drink enjoyed by such people as Challer and Mara Jade.”

After an unusually long wait for any promotional trailers or images, it looks like the Solo movie is still keeping some cards close to its chest.

Hans’ gambling famously won him the Millennium Falcon. Disney and Lucasfilm will be hoping their own will have a similarly impressive pay-off…
