Hope Hicks is the spitting image of Melania Trump as she accompanies Donald Trump in Ohio

Hope Hicks, 29, is the former White House communications director to President Donald Trump, 72.

The former model looked virtually undistinguishable from Donald’s wife, Melania Trump, 48, in pictures.

With her large sunglasses, dramatic brunette waves and chic white dress, she looked the spitting image of the First Lady.

Hope was accompanying Donald Trump at the “Make America Great Again” rally in Columbus, Ohio.

Melania wore a very similar outfit when attending the US Women’s Open Golf Championship last year in July.

Side by side photos of Melania and Hope show the two women looking like twins.

Hope’s deep tan and skyscraper stilettos completed the lookalike style.

She also carried an oversized Hermes Birkin bag, a style Melania has been known to sport before.

Descending the steps of Air Force One – Donald’s private plane – you would have been forgiven for mixing up the two women.

Hope was one of Donald’s longest-serving aides during his presidential campaign.

She resigned from her White House role earlier this year in February.

Hope testified before the House Intelligence Committee, revealing she had told “white lies” in her role.

Last week, Melania Trump dismissed “disturbing and despicable” tweets from US politician Mark Roberts.

Mark, who is a congressional candidate in Oregon, attacked the First Lady on Twitter.

He wrote on the social media site: “Did you know the First Lady works by the hour? #thinkdirty #h**bag.”

When he received criticsm for this statement on the website, the poltician doubled down and wrote: “I invite that hosebag to sue me.” [sic]

Now the First Lady has fired back against the 2018 Independent Party of Oregon candidate. Her press secretary told Glamour magazine.

Stephanie Grisham pointed out that the Melania is a mother-of-one, as well as the First Lady of the United States.

She said: “This is just more hypocritical intolerance from those who oppose her husband’s administration.

“To say such ugly words about a mother, wife and our First Lady is not just a pathetic attempt at getting himself in the news, it is disturbing and despicable.”
