How the Queen pays tribute to Saudi Kings by wearing these lavish jewels
The Queen has an array of stunning jewels, many of them given to her by foreign royals, including these gems from the Middle East.
The King Faisal Diamond Necklace
Designed by Harry winston and given to the Queen by King Faisal of Saudi Arabia in 1967 during his state visit to the country, and the Queen sometimes wears the piece for evening events.
It is made up of three shapes of diamonds, baguette, brilliant and pear, and comes in at a whopping 84 carats.
She has loaned the necklace out to Princess Diana who wore it in Australia in 1983.
Sophie Countess of Wessex, 53, wore the piece to a gala in 2012.
King Faisal reigned in Saudi Arabia from 1964 to 1975, when he was assassinated by his nephew Faisal bin Musaid.
