Infinity War deaths: 'THIS hero will return but WON'T be the same in Avengers 4' WHY?
The new release of the Infinity War DVD in the US has prompted another round of interviews and revelations from the filmmakers.
Basically, all fans want to know is which heroes will be brought back to lfe in Avengers 4 – and how.
There is a general consensus that all those lost in The Snap will be somehow returned but those who died before that at Thanos’ hands are more likely to remain dead and gone.
But what if they are not actually human? And, no, we are not talking about Loki…
The key to one character’s survival lies in the hands of the smartest person in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Tony Stark may be a little distressed to discover it is not him…
In a new video feature the Russo brothers said: “Shuri is the smartest person in the Marvel universe… She is the brains behind Wakanda’s incredibly advanced technology.”
And that technology is the key to saving one particular hero.
A new report in The Wrap says “Shuri notes that it’s possible to complete Vision’s neural network to bypass the stone and remove that part of him, and she sets about trying to do that in Wakanda.
“Keep in mind also that while Shuri didn’t finish the job, she did do a lot of work on Vision ‘connecting neurons.’ She was attempting to make connections past the Mind Stone so that Scarlet Witch could destroy it, and undoubtedly she was able to make at least some of those connections.
“It might be enough for Vision to have survived Thanos’ assault, in some form or another. While Vision’s body might be damaged, he’s primarily a computer program. So maybe, like JARVIS, he can survive in another form, outside of his body.”
One fan agreed: “I agree. As soon as Shuri was tasked with helping Vision, I was looking at what she was doing and realized she is likely doing two things simultaneously. She’s not only working on readying the stone for removal, but ALSO “downloading” Vision’s source code in the background just in case things go sideways so there is a contingency plan.”
Another added: “In the comics Vision is constantly getting destroyed and rebuilt, he’s definitely coming back in some form.”
This may not be entirely good news, though. Some parts of Jarvis and even Ultron may have been saved, but certainly not everything which collectively made up Vision – including the Mind Stone itself.
Will Vision return simply as a computer programme or can clever Shuri also build him a new body?
