James Bond 25: Cara Delevingne ODDS ON favourite to be next ‘Bond girl’ with Daniel Craig
Many names have been linked to the role alongside Daniel Craig, but bookies have revealed that now Delevingne is the clear choice.
Coral have given her odds of 4/6 – clearly ahead of second-favourite Emily Ratajkowski on 4/1.
“Our customers certainly think that Cara Delevingne is every inch a perfect Bond girl and we make her the hot favourite to land the role for Bond returning to cinemas for the 25th time,” said the company’s spokesperson.
Other contenders include Emilia Clarke on 5/1, Margot Robbie on 6/1 and Emma Watson on 12/1.
Gal Gadot can be backed at 16/1, with Mila Kunis on 20/1, Halle Berry on 25/1, Cobie Smulders on 33/1, Angelina Jolie on 50/1 and Meghan Markle on 100/1.
In terms of who will succeed Craig as Bond himself, the two joint favourites are James Norton and Tom Hardy.
Both are priced at 3/1, with Jack Huston a hairline behind on 4/1.
Aidan Turner follows on 6/1, with Daniel Kaluuya and Tom Hiddleston next at 12/1.
“We simply cannot split Hardy and Norton in the betting for the battle to be the next 007, although there are whispers that Get Out star Daniel Kaluuya could be in with an outside chance,” added the spokesperson.
Craig has already confirmed he will play 007 in the next film, although he has hinted it will be his last.
James Bond 25 is due in October 2019.
