James Bond 25 plot LEAK? ‘Daniel Craig’s final 007 outing like Hugh Jackman’s Logan’

WARNING SPOILERS FOR LOGAN ENDING AHEAD

It’s his fifth and final James Bond movie, and no doubt Craig wants to go out with a bang – especially as previous 007 actors’ last adventures tend to be the sillier and camper films in the franchise.

But with Danny Boyle and Trainspotting screenwriter John Hodge helming the story of Bond 25, just want can fans expect?

Well nothing story-wise has been revealed officially, but a new leak is claiming something very gritty indeed.

The claim comes from Reddit user CashleyPersia, who has previously said: “I work in the film industry and know people tangentially connected to the world of Bond.”

They allege: “I’ve heard that the film is very British-based and the tone will be lighter than the last few movies.

“However, it is written as Craig’s final Bond film and I hear Logan being used as a comparison often still.”

Marvel fans will know Jackman’s Logan was his critically-acclaimed gritty final outing as Wolverine.

A film that was very different to your typical superhero movie, seeing an aged, dying (and bearded) Logan’s last adventure full of swearing and bloody violence.

This would allow for the female agent to have her own set of spin-off movies.

A smart move by MGM, this would create a cinematic universe for the franchise, as previously rumoured to be on the cards.

Also a female agent would be the answer to calls for a female Bond, without going the whole hog of gender-swapping Ian Fleming’s very masculine character.

Then after a few years and potential sequels, they’d presumably be ready to reboot the franchise with another Bond actor.

James Bond 25 is set for release in November 2019.
