Blockbuster movies seem to be getting longer and longer nowadays, perhaps giving audiences a reason to leave the comfort of their streaming services at home to pay for a cinema ticket. Just last year, Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood came in at two hours and 40 minutes, while was an incredible three hours and two minutes long. But now it looks like Daniel Craig’s final film will almost match the Marvel epic in length.

Bond news site MI6 HQ reports that a Russian theatre chain have listed No Time to Die as two hours and 54 minutes long.

That would make Craig’s swan-song the longest James Bond movie in the franchise’s history.

In comparison, Skyfall was two hours and 23 minutes, while the last outing Spectre clocked in at two hours and 28 minutes in length.

Meanwhile, alleged No Time To Die’s 174 minutes run time has also appeared on the official Latvian distributor’s website, as spotted by Trailer Track.

Seeing as No Time To Die is the conclusion to Craig’s Bond’s story arc – which began with Casino Royale – giving his character’s narrative an epic conclusion would certainly be fitting.

It’s also worth pointing out that Avengers Endgame wasn’t the longest major movie of 2019, but Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman.

The gangster movie clocks in at three hours and 30 minutes and while it had a limited cinematic release, was primarily seen on Netflix who produced the movie.

Meanwhile, Daniel Craig has revealed how his first James Bond experience terrified him.

Speaking at Entertainment Weekly’s Around The Table with other No Time To Die stars, Craig said: “I saw Live and Let Die at the cinema, which was Roger Moore’s first movie.

“[It] was terrifying [and] had a major effect on me. I ended up playing James Bond. Ta-da!”

New Bond villain Rami Malek asked: “What was so scary about it?”

Craig reminisced: “Just sort of all the voodoo and it kind of like…a guy with a machete, but it was great.”

The 51-year-old added: “And there’s a boat chase through the Everglades in Florida, which was really intense, yeah it was great.”

Meanwhile, Malek revealed his first Bond experience was a Sean Connery classic.

The Oscar winner said: “It was on the TV with my father.

“And I think it was either Dr No or Goldfinger – both great!”

Fans have suspected that Malek’s Safin is secretly Dr No, or at least inspired by the first official Bond film’s baddie.

As for No Time To Die’s Bond girls, Léa Seydoux and Lashana Lynch, the pair hadn’t seen a 007 movie until Craig’s first, Casino Royale.

The incumbent Bond joked that that just made him feel old.

No Time To Die is released in UK cinemas on April 2, 2020.
