Meghan Markle Ascot 2018 look cost in the region of this enormous sum

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, looked stunning yesterday at Royal Ascot.

One Twitter use compared the look to that of Eliza in My Fair Lady, thanks to the large hat and black and white colour scheme.

The LA-born former-actress attended the meet with her husband Prince Harry, 33.

The Duke looked on loving at his wife as she smiled and waved at crowds at the sporting event.

Meghan opted for another custom Givenchy number.

Her wedding dress was made by the same fashion house, crafted by creative director Clare Waight Keller, 47.

While custom dresses can vary in prince, a Givenchy shirt dress is currently selling on website Net-a-Porter for £3,190.

Taking a break from her favourite designer, Meghan wore shoes from Balenciaga.

The Balenciaga Leather Knife Pumps were rendered in plain black leather.

The black pair do not seem to be currently available, however a spotty pair are on sale on Net-a-Porter for £695.

The Duchess of Sussex continued to champion one of her most worn brands, Meghan wore Birks jewellery.

She wore the large yellow gold and diamond stud earrings Birks Petale.

She wore the Givenchy Satin Clutch with Jewellery Clasp.

Givenchy clutch bags currently sell in the region of £920.

Finally Meghan added a Philip Treacey hat.

Meghan’s hat is available to buy online from the designer’s website, however you will have to apply to learn the price.

However, you can buy a very similar black number, the bow-embellished sinamay hat for £750.

This brings the price of Meghan’s outfit into the region of £6,409.84.

Prince Eugenie at Ascot also looked stunning in white.
