Melania Trump wears mannish tailoring to meet military medical staff in Washington
Melania Trump, 48, took to Instagram to share images from her visit and express her thanks.
The First Lady wrote: “I had a wonderful visit to @WRBethesda today. Thank you to the many dedicated service members & medical staff who take such good care of our men & women in uniform.”
Usually seen in a dress, the mum-of-one instead chose modern, mannish tailoring for her trip.
She paired blue wide leg cropped trousers with a loose blue shirt.
Adding some fashionable touches, Melania rolled up the sleeves of the shirt and pulled in her waist with a blue leather belt.
She completed the look with a pair of black leather court stiletto heels.
Never failing to look glamorous, Melania wore her hair blowdried down over her shoulders.
Her makeup was also perfect, with the First Lady sporting pink lipstick and a sweep of bronzer.
Melania has been busy in recent weeks with both personal and work-related trips.
Donald and his wife returned back to The White House on Monday after spending the weekend at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster Township, New Jersey.
Melania looked demure in a baby pink sweater and white cropped trousers.
She completed her outfit with a pair of white flat pumps.
Her mother made a rare appearance on Saturday alongside Melania as the Trump family made their way to visit a military base in Washington.
The First Lady wore a pair of vibrant floral print trousers, adding simplicity to the look with a crisp white shirt and pain yellow heels.
Formally a pattern maker at the children’s clothing manufacturer Jutranjka in Sevnica, Slovenia, Amalija Knavs joined the Trump family as they visited US military base, Joint Base Andrews.
Excitement has been mounting as the Trump’s are due to visit the UK for the first time in a matter of weeks.
Their lavish itinerary has now been revealed, and the first lady is scheduled to have dinner at the opulent Blenheim Palace, home of the Duke and Duchess of Marlborough.
The Trump’s will then journey to Buckinghamshire, where they will meet with Theresa May at Chequers.
Chequers is a sprawling country manor house used by UK Prime Ministers.
It is Grade I listed and on the National Heritage List for England, with beautiful landscaped parks and gardens. They will then meet the Queen at Windsor Castle.
