Men in Black 4: Does THIS prove Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones will cameo in new spin-off?
The alien comedy spin-off has been shooting in the UK as the new story follows the London branch of the Men in Black.
Thor Ragnarok stars Hemsworth and Thompson play Agents H and Em but will we being seeing any original stars?
Well according to Omega Underground, filming will move to New York City where Smith and Jones’ Agents J and K were located during the events of the original trilogy.
The site posted set photos on Twitter of the pair and one fan asked: “You think they’ll film a cameo with Will Smith?”
They replied: “They’re filming scenes in NYC, I’ll leave it there.”
With this in mind perhaps Men in Black 4 will act like Jurassic World, the fourth film in a franchise but focused on new characters in the same universe.
So just as Jeff Goldblum cameoed in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, hopefully there is also room for Smith and Jones.
Meanwhile one cast member from Men in Black 3 has been confirmed as returning.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Emma Thompson, who played Agent O in the third outing is back for Men in Black 4.
Her character was chief of the New York branch, having replaced Rip Torn’s Agent Z.
Thompson’s return to the franchise makes sense as Agent O is British, so presumably she’s been transferred to London.
Also her character will act as a nice bridge between the original trilogy and the new spin-off reboot.
Men in Black 4 is set for release in UK cinemas on June 14, 2019.
