Mission Impossible 6 FIRST REACTIONS are in: Critics have VERY strong feelings on Fallout

The latest movie in the franchise – officially titled Mission: Impossible – Fallout – is already being dubbed by US critics as the movie of the summer.

That’ll be a big relief to star Tom Cruise, who sustained a nasty injury while filming.

Collider’s Steve Weintraub said: “Happy to report #MissionImpossibleFallout is a fantastic movie that’s absolutely loaded with *insane* action and edge of your seat holy s**t moments.

“Not sure how @TomCruise keeps raising the bar but I’m so happy he does. The bathroom fight scene alone is worth price of admission.”

Fandango’s Erik Davis beamed: “Just walked out of #MissionImpossibleFallout, which is absolutely fantastic.

“This movie entertains you in every which way, incredible action sequences, nail-biting suspense & hands down the series best finale yet. My favorite movie of the summer right there, loved every second.”

Daniel Howat of NextBestPicture was similarly enthusiastic, saying: “#MissionImpossible FALLOUT is exactly as thrilling as you hope it will be! Amazing action, but it never overshadows the high stakes.

“We don’t see stunt-work like this much anymore. A breath of fresh air amidst the CGI-fueled summer. Mission: Impossible is as strong as ever.”

Another US site, Moviefone, wrote: “We saw #MissionImpossibleFallout last night, and holy sh**, @chrismcquarrie has delivered the grittiest and biggest “Mission” yet. And that bathroom fight, tho? *chef’s kiss*.

“Love #MissionImpossibleFallout’s nods to the first movie, and fans of M:I:III will be glad to see that film’s emotional storyline get tied up here 12 years later.”

Tommy Garrett tweeted: “#MissionImpossibleFallout is the most perfect sequel! It does EVERYTHING RIGHT!

“Add it to your movie must-see list this summer. Opens on July 27! You won’t be sorry!”

The movie also stars Simon Pegg, Henry Cavill, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames and Angela Bassett.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout is out on July 20.
