Mrs Doubtfire child star Matthew Laurence looks like THIS now: What happened to Chris?

Matthew Laurence played middle child Chris, starring alongside Lisa Jakub as Lydie and Mara Wilson as Nattie.

Sally Field played their mother Miranda, while Williams played the titular role – aka Daniel Hillard.

Mrs Doubtfire was not Laurence’s first job: at the time of its release he had already played Little Neal in Planes, Trains and Automobiles, and starred in three episodes of Dynasty.

But it was the 1993 smash hit that made him a star, and set him up for years more success.

He went on to star in films such as The Hot Chick, Monster Night and The Comebacks, with his last project – Evol: The Theory of Love – being unveiled in 2015.

He’s also had plenty of small screen work: he had a main role in Boy Meets World from 1997 to 2000, and was also in a few episodes of Melissa and Joey between 2011 and 2014.

Laurence also had passing roles in CSI: Miami, Inside Carly, Workaholics, Girl Meets World and Boston Public.

Aside from his acting career, Laurence is also a keen musician: the now-38-year-old is in a family band with his brothers Joey and Andy, called Still 3.

The Pennsylvania-born star is thought to be dating dancer Cheryl Burke, whom he previously dated and split from.

“When we first dated, we were both young and immature, and I was so new to this world,” she told People last year.

“Now we are both adults and feel balanced.”

Laurence has just under 100,000 followers on Instagram – with his most recent picture being with Burke.
