Piers Morgan net worth: Good Morning Britain host has earned staggering fortune
The journalist started in the media in 1985, working for Surrey and South London Newspaper.
Piers later worked as a freelance journalist for The Sun before moving to the News of the World.
At the newspaper, he topped up his bank balance as the youngest national newspaper editor in more than 50 years, aged just 29.
The ITV star continued his work as an editor moving to the The Mirror.

The journalist added to his wealth when he gained part ownership of Press Gazette in a deal said to be worth £1million.
As well as his career in print, Piers is best-known to many for his work in television.
He had his first role as a television presenter hosting a three part documentary, The Importance of Being Famous, in 2003.
Piers continued to build his fortune hosting Channel 4’s Morgan and Platell, a current affairs interview show.
The journalist started to make a name for himself in America while appearing on a number of programmes.
In 2006, he was a judge on America’s Got Talent and went on to host his own show Piers Morgan Live on CNN for three years.
Back in the UK, he sat on the judging panel on Britain’s Got Talent for four years.
Piers reportedly signed a two-year deal with ITV in 2008, which would pay him £2million a year.
In 2017, the broadcaster responded to the BBC rich list by revealing his own salary.
The TV presenter responded to a post on Twitter calling for celebrities to reveal their salaries.
The tweet read: “Thing is though, for all this chat and judgement who would just openly tweet their salary right now? Go on, I dare you.”
Piers replied: “£22,500,000.”
