Pippa Middleton leaves for Prince Louis’ Christening showing a hint of baby bump

Pippa Middleton, 34, was spotted this afternoon leaving for Prince Louis‘ christening. 

Her two-month-old nephew is being christened this afternoon at the Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace. 

Stylish Pippa opted for a pale blue dress, matching the sex of Prince Louis – could it be a nod to the sex of her own baby? 

The Waitrose Magazine columnist complemented the dress choice with a matching pale blue hat. 

Her pregnancy bump was barely noticeable beneath all the layers of the panelled dress. 

Pippa is due in October, and her blossoming baby bump is starting to show in her formal attire. 

The pale blue dress featured structured, panelled middle, cinching Pippa in at the waist – showing off her bump.

The dress, by Italian designer Alessandra Rich, was custom-made for Kate’s younger sister for the occasion.

With the hem coming to just below the knee, the dress featured heavy pleating detail and the material was sheer enough to see her toned legs underneath.

Buttons ran down the length of the dress at the front. 

The blue dress was designed to look old-fashioned btuwith a modern, chic twist; it featuring long sleeves with puffed detail above the wrist.

The same ruched detail was also on the bust area, giving the 34-year-old’s silhouette definition. 

On her head, Pippa wore a matching baby blue hat, featuring ribbon and netting detail.

Toning the elaborate outfit down, she went for a simple shoe choice, opting for a classic par of icy blue pointed toe heels with an ankle strap.

The mother-to-be kept her makeup simple, showing off her pregnancy glow with just a hint of blusher and nude lipstick. 

She wore her hair in a half-up-half-down style, with the top hidden beneath her pale blue hat. 

In her hands she carried a tiny silver clutch bag with a shimmery finish, matching her shoes. 

Pippa is expecting her first child with husband James Matthews. 

Arriving at the christening Pippa’s outfit matched that of her mother, Carole Middleton’s, who also wore a similar shade of blue. 

It is not known is the pair were under instruction to dress this way by Kate Middleton.
