Princess Charlene of Monaco in pictures: HRH stuns at Princess Grace Awards in New York

Princess Charlene of Monaco attended an award ceremony in honour of her late mother-in-law Grace Kelly on Tuesday night.

The Princess Grace Awards were established 36 years ago by the iconic movie star’s husband Prince Rainier III of Monaco.

The intention of charity is to assist emerging talent in theatre, dance and film with scholarships and apprenticeships.

This year the award gala was held America where the actress was born and lived before famously marrying the Prince of Monaco.

Presenting the awards at the New York gala was Princess Charlene who is married to Grace’s son Albert II, Prince of Monaco.

Forty-year-old Charlene looked chic at the event in a black suit with a classic white tuxedo shirt worn un-done at the neck.

The fashionable royal teamed the masculine tailoring, which included a pair of braces, with black heels and added a pop of colour with red nail varnish.

She completed the look with a stunning drop diamond necklace and small diamond earrings.

Wearing make-up with a peachy hue and her short blonde hair in waves, the princess looked both elegant and cool.
