Queen Letizia, 45, stepped out in a sexy white dress during an official visit to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

The Queen of Spain met Dominican President Danila Medina and his wife Candida de Montilla for a lunch at the Nacional Palace.

The 5ft 6in beautiful Spanish royal put on an eye popping display, looking drop dead gorgeous in an outfit fit for a Hollywood movie star.

The stylish dress had a halter neck polka dot white dress with a nipped in waist.

It is by designer Carolina Herrera and a similar one costs £2,291 from Farfetch.

Carolina Herrera is a favourite of Queen Letizia’s and she has been pictured numerous times in the Venezuelan designer’s dresses.

Queen Letizia looked decades younger than her true age in the flattering get up.

The glamorous outfit channelled Marilyn Monroe’s iconic white dress in the 1955 film The Seven Year Itch.

The slim royal paired her look with pointed black stiletto heels in a patent material.

The heels are by Spanish designer Magrit and cost €270 (£237).

Letizia’s shoe choice added length to her slim legs, which she wore bare.

She topped off the look with a pair of diamond drop earrings from Spanish jewellery designer Tous.

The former news anchor looked calm and relaxed as she shook hands with Dominican Republic officials.

Her husband King Felipe, 50, did not accompany his wife on the trip.

Yesterday, Queen Letizia wore white trousers to visit a Spanish water distribution project in Santo Domingo.

The stunning royal looked slender and chic in a tailored white two piece outfit during the visit.

Letizia showed off her characteristic good taste and style with the well balanced combination of a loose fitting top and tight trousers.

Her lithe, toned arms and shoulders were put on show in the sleeveless top, although she added a black blazer later in the day.

The vertical stripes helped to lengthen her body, while the baggy fit suited the hot climate. Her white trousers were cut perfectly to a crop length to show off a hint of ankle.

Letizia normally wears heels for public appearances, but ditched them for this occasion.
