Queen Letizia makes business wear edgy as she attends young people's conference
Queen Letizia, 45, was in Girona, Spain, today as she attended the Rescatadores de Talento conference at the Hotel Camiral.
Rescatadores de Talento is a private foundation that supports young people in their personal and professional development.
Suiting the formality of the occasion, Letizia looked businesslike in a monochrome ensemble.
The stylish Queen looked glamorous in a floaty, slightly sheer white blouse and wide-legged trouser combination.
The blouse was pleated from the neck down and emblazoned with delicate black stars, possibly hinting at the bright youths the conference was addressing.
The short-sleeved blouse was perfect for the hot weather, with the conference taking place in Girona in Catalonia.
Cut off just above the ankle, the tailored, wide-leg black trousers were elegant and sharp, a contrast to the most summery, whimsical blouse.
She paired the business-like ensemble with a pair of black, pointed-toe stilettos.
Known for her edgy sense of style, the otherwise classic heels had clear perspex edges, bringing a fun touch to the monochrome look.
In her hands she held a small black clutch bag with another edgy twist, lined with silver metal stud detail.
The 46-year-old wore her caramel brown lock perfectly straight and down, a change from her usual lose, natural-looking waves.
Keeping the look minimal she opted for no jewellery, apart from a simple pair of diamond stud earrings, in the shape of stars to match her blouse.
The mother-of-two’s makeup was all shades of brown, with a bold, brown smokey eye and nude brown lipstick, with a bold blush to match.
Rescatadores de Talento’s honorary president is Letitia’s husband, King Felipe VI, on behalf of the couple’s daughter, Princess Leanor, 12.
The couple have been married for 14 years, with Felipe also at the conference with Letizia.
Felipe looked dashing in a all-blue outfit, complete with summary pale blue and white pinstripe blazer.
Last night Letizia showed off her playful side in a sultry red dress and modern updo.
Also held in Gerona, Letizia and King Felipe attended the Premios Fundacion Princesa de Girona, which promotes youth in professional and vocational training.
Switching up her look, Letizia wore her hair in a half-up, half-down style which was curled for added volume.
The unusual style is not one she chooses often, tending to opt for more classic looks for events.
