Rambo 5: Sylvester Stallone teases shoot start ‘Getting VERY excited’

The 72-year-old star shows no sign of stopping as he gears up for the fifth instalment in his action franchise.

Shooting begins on Rambo V soon, according to his latest Instagram post.

Stallone posted a picture of himself as John Rambo brandishing a huge knife in a rain forest.

The picture looks like it’s from Rambo, the fourth film, which was released in 2008.

According to Screen Daily, the synopsis for Rambo V as follows: “[Rambo] finds him[self] living in a ranch in Arizona, deeply troubled and wrestling with PTSD as he picks up casual work wherever he can.

“When long-time family friend and estate manager Maria informs Rambo that her granddaughter has gone missing after crossing into Mexico for a party, he sets off with her to find the youngster.”

“What ensues is a violent descent into hell as Rambo uncovers a sex-trafficking ring.

“He teams up with a journalist whose half-sister has also been kidnapped and must deploy all his skills to save the girls and bring down a vicious crime lord.”

At 72-years-old this will presumably be the last film in the Rambo series.

That is unless the franchise is rebooted with a younger star.

Rambo V is set for release in Autumn 2019.
