Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, 58, is gearing up for the wedding of her daughter Princess Eugenie.

The young royal will marry in October, and Sarah will be in the spotlight once more after years of taking a backseat.

Last night Fergie, as she is fondly known by the public, enjoyed a night out in London.

She was spotted leaving exclusive private club Lou Lou’s in Mayfair, and the mum-of-two looked fresh faced for her night out.

Prince Andrew’s former wife wore a black top with black flared mini skirt.

She added a pop of colour with a baby pink jacket, which complemented her flame-coloured hair.

Fergie chose a pair of very unusual flat pumps to complete the outfit.

Costing £200 from French Sole, the ballet slippers had an Alice In Wonderland design, with one side saying ‘Eat Me’, and the other a bottle of potion and the words ‘Drink Me’.

She carried a grey leather Mulberry Bayswater handbag with pink trim.

A gold coin necklace and delicate drop earrings finished the outfit off.

Sarah wore her famed red hair in loose curls over her shoulders, and she didn’t appear to be wearing any makeup.

Anticipation is building for Princess Eugenie’s wedding in October, and as Mother of the Bride, Sarah has a key role to play.

How does she feel ahead of the nuptials? Her handwriting reveals there is something she needs.

It seems her role may be hands-on in the run up to the wedding of her daughter.

This is because Sarah feels the need to get very “involved” ahead of the upcoming nuptials, a handwriting expert has revealed.

“Sarah needs an emotional high and something to get her teeth into,” revealed graphology expert Tracey Trussell of Handright.

“She enjoys keeping busy with lots of interests and getting involved with everything that’s going on.

“She still often finds herself rushing around like a dizzy chicken getting distracted and wishing there were more hours in the day.”

However, the expert added that Sarah has “calmed down” over the past few decades.

“She’s still a delightfully warm, compassionate, upbeat social butterfly, spirited and stimulating company, a people’s person,” said Tracey.
