Spider-Man 2 Far From Home: Tom Holland spotted filming EMOTIONAL scene (VIDEO)

The new movie, the sequel to 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, is due in cinemas in 2019, has gone into production over recent days.

Yesterday video emerged of Holland and the crew shooting in Bethnal Green, East London – according to Twitter user @cometbarbara.

In it – and it seems to be a night-time scene – Peter Parker is seen taking a moment to himself, seemingly weighed down with emotion and collecting his thoughts.

The Twitter user captioned the snap: “tom holland has been filming for spider-man far from home all week in east london, this was taken by one of my mum’s friends who i live super close to.”

Very little is known about the sequel, especially as the two Marvel films that will come out before it – Captain Marvel and Avengers 4 – are shrouded in secrecy; particularly the latter.

Peter of course fell victim to Thanos’s snap in Avengers: Infinity War and is, by all accounts, dead – along with half of all humanity.

So if and how he comes back to life in Avengers 4, and how that plays into Spider-Man: Far From Home, remains to be seen.

One rumour about Far From Home is that Jake Gyllenhaal will be on board to play Mysterio, though this is unconfirmed.

Marvel boss Kevin Feige recently told ComicBook.com: “”Well, I mean, sure, let the speculation begin. That’s always fun.”

On the film’s title, he said: “We like [the title] of course because it ties into Homecoming, not just keeping that word going, which we like and we liked it more than Homecoming 2, but that notion of ‘home’ is a word that has dual meanings we’d like to continue with this [Marvel Cinematic Universe] version of Spider-Man.
