Swiss Indoors results LIVE: Basel updates including Roger Federer and Marin Cilic
The Swiss Indoors in Basel begins on Monday and Roger Federer is the favourite in his hometown tournament.
Federer has won the Swiss Indoors a staggering SEVEN times during his career.
The 36-year-old first won the title in 2006, having twice lost in the final before then (2000 and 2001.
Federer’s last triumph here came two years ago when he beat Rafael Nadal 6–3 5–7 6–3 in the final.
Last year Marin Cilic edged Kei Nishikori in two sets to claim his maiden Swiss Indoors crown.
Another previous champion Juan Martin del Potro is also competing this week.
However, Britain’s Aljaz Bedene has withdrawn, while Nadal has also pulled out.
