Margot Robbie’s newest movie Terminal has been in the works since 2016, with Robbie both producing and starring in it as Annie, a mysterious waitress.

When is Terminal out in the UK?

The noir thriller is in UK cinemas on July 6, 2018.

Terminal follows the intertwined stories of two assassins (Dexter Fletcher and Max Irons) carrying out a mission on behalf of an unknown but sinister employer.

Along the way, the movie focusses on a teacher battling a fatal illness (Simon Pegg), an enigmatic janitor (Mike Meyers) and a curious waitress leading a dangerous double life (Margot Robbie).

IMDB wrote: “Murderous consequences unravel in the dead of night as their lives all intertwine at the hands of a mysterious criminal mastermind hell-bent on revenge.”

Terminal was written and directed by Vaughn Stein, through Robbie’s production company Luckychap Entertainment.

Stein’s previous credits include work on World War Z, Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, and Les Misérables.

Months after Robbie announced her role in Terminal, Simon Pegg, Mike Myers, Max Irons and Dexter Fletcher joined the cast.

Terminal was truly an international affair, with co-production managed between Ireland, the United Kingdom, Hungary, Hong Kong and the United States.

Principal photography took place in Budapest, Hungary during May 2016 and a rough cut of the film was screened at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival.

Principal photography on the film began in May 2016 in Budapest, Hungary and lasted over the course of 27 nights.

A rough cut of Terminal was screened at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival.

Two years later, Terminal has made its way to the big screens, already debuting in America and Edinburgh.

Robbie’s performance in Terminal has been praised, and the actress stars with an old school femme fatale vibe hard to beat.

Of Terminal, IGN said: “Time doesn’t always move in a linear fashion here.

“It is obvious that none of these encounters were left up to chance though.

“Whether it be acts of violence or a peculiar conversation about suicide, it’s clear that these events were ushered along by hidden hands.”

Terminal is in UK cinemas July 6, 2018.
