Terminator 6 set photo: Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton REUNITED after 27 years
The pair last shared the screen together in 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
But now 27 years later and they’re back filming Terminator 6, a film that will act as a direct sequel to Judgement Day.
To celebrate Linda turning 62-years-old, Arnie has shared a set photo of the pair on his Instagram reenacting a snap from what appears to be Judgement Day’s set.
Arnie wrote: “Happy birthday to my dear friend Linda Hamilton.”
He added: “One of my favourite co-stars, a true badass, and a wonderful human being.
‘I’m pumped to be back together again.”
Interestingly Arnie’s T-800 is bruised up, with a number of cuts on his face.
He’s also sporting grey hair and a beard.
While Linda is clearly reprising her role as Sarah Connor, it’s not entirely clear what Arnie’s role will be.
In Terminator Genisys, a film retconned by James Cameron for Terminator 6’s sake, Arnie’s age was explained by having his Terminator’s skin age.
Presumably there will be a similar explanation for Arnie’s wrinkles this time around. Although there’s another option.
Assuming Cameron’s sticking with this, it would make sense for grey bearded Arnie to play this human the T-800 was based on.
But presumably he’d also get to play the actual Terminator via motion capture a digital de-aging.
After all Brett Azar is playing the star’s body double for a younger Terminator in the upcoming film.
Terminator 6 will be released in UK cinemas on November 13, 2019.
