TV Choice Awards 2018: Worst Dressed celebs – including Charlotte Hawkins & Olivia Attwood

TV Choice Awards are taking place tonight at a glittering star-studded bash in central London.

The awards celebrate the best names in British television, with some of the most recognisable faces in the country attending the ceremony.

Some of the stars up for awards include Michelle Keegan, Martin Clunes, Martin Lewis, The Hairy Bikers and Cillian Murphy.

One of the biggest nights in television, it’s chance to impress in the sartorial stakes, but it seems some celebrities didn’t get the memo.

TV Choice Awards worst dressed

Usually one to top the best-dressed list, ITV’s Charlotte Hawkins failed to impress tonight due to her safe and plain frock.

The stunning blonde opted for a floor-length, short-sleeved sheer electric blue gown, which didn’t do the stunning presenter’s looks or enviable figure a lot of justice.

Playing it safe and adding a slightly out-dated element to the look, the dress featured an empire line and lots of pleats in the skirt.

Another TV star who played it safe on the night was Kate Garraway. The TV presenter opted for a white blouse and maxi skirt.

Cinched in at the waist with an oversized belt, the dark red skirt appeared to be made of a taffeta material.

She paired the matronly ensemble with clashing purple stilettos and a multi-coloured clutch bag.

One TV star who also didn’t play it safe is reality TV star, Olivia Attwood.

The former Love Island contestant donned a head-turning trouser and bodice combination.

However, despite the outfit’s sex appeal, the long black trousers appeared to trail on the floor and looked to be too big for the star, with the sheer black mesh on top of the bodice seeming an unnecessary edition.

Eastenders star Kacey Ainsworth also made an appearance, choosing an unusual mustard yellow blouse and animal print skirt combination.

Reminiscent of the early naughties, the yellow and leopard-print outfit also saw the addition of a chunky black elasticised belt.

Kacey paired the colourful ensemble with a pair of gladiator-style heels.

Another soapstar who didn’t quite hit the mark was Eastenders actress, Amy Walsh.

The blonde opted for all black, sporting a cigarette trousers and statement top combination.

While the trousers fitted perfectly and oozed elegance, the elaborate lace, see-through top won’t have been to many people’s taste.

Showing off her black bra, the thick lace garment featured a high neck, long sleeves and was longer at the back – forming a short train.
