In celebration of their 50th anniversary in small ship cruising, Variety Cruises, partners with GroupIST and winner of USA Today ‘Reader’s Choice World’s Best Boutique Cruise Line 2016,’ has announced that they will reward their travel partners throughout 2018 with free cruises and bonus commissions.
Yiannis Vontas, Senior Partner and Executive VP of Development and Marketing in making the announcement said, “the best way we can mark 50 years of success in pioneering the small ship cruising is to reward the travel community which has strongly supported us over the years. Since we first launched Variety Cruises, our destination portfolio has expanded to include some of the more exotic parts of the world, so now our travel trade partners have many more diverse itineraries to offer their clients and our bonus commission policy demonstrates our appreciation for the travel agents’ loyalty.”
To mark its 50th anniversary, Variety Cruises is offering 50 free cruises to those travel agents who make the first 50 cruise reservations starting from Monday, October 16, 7 a.m. EST for any sailing departures in 2018 (also valid for departures on Dec 29 and Dec 30, 2017).
The free cruises, for the winning agents and their companion, will be valid for all destinations on any departure date in 2018 with the exception of Cuba but do not include port charges.
Agents will also receive $50 bonus commission per cabin booked for any reservation with a departure from December 29, 2017 to the end of December 2018. Variety Cruises will double this bonus commission for all Cuba and Costa Rica winter 2017-2018 bookings.
Variety Cruises will also reward travel partners registered in its Variety Stars Program, with double stars for any clients booked for a sailing taking place throughout 2018.
Variety Cruises, based in Athens, Greece, operates a fleet of 11 fully owned vessels with a maximum of 72 passengers. Guests on board get to explore secluded coves, renowned ports and legendary landmarks not accessible by larger ships.
Scheduling leisure time and overnights in port highlight Variety’s commitment to providing a memorable and private yacht experience. Each yacht has an intimate ambiance and a community of like-minded fellow travelers. Known for its high passenger-to-crew ratio, averaging 2 passengers to 1 crew, Variety staff are able to give personal attention to all their guests.
