Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2018: Every Fantasy Bra ever made in pictures

The Victoria’s Secret fashion show will be held in New York this year.

Fans are eagerly waiting to hear which Angel will be chosen to wear the famous Fantasy Bra as the models are announced for the prestigious lingerie catwalk show.

Previous lucky models given the coveted role include Claudia Schiffer, Heidi Klum and Alessandra Ambrosio.

In 1996, Claudia Schiffer, 48, became the first model to wear a Fantasy Bra for luxury lingerie brand.

With over one hundred carats of real diamonds it was estimated to be worth one million dollars.

The show stopping ‘miracle bra’, as it was dubbed, started a trend that it still going strong today.

In last year’s show, Brazilian model Lais Ribeiro, 27, was chosen for the role.

She walked the Shanghai runway in the Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra valued at more than $2 million.

Adorned with diamonds, yellow sapphires and blue topaz, the incredible work of art was set in 18 carat gold.

It was designed by Mouawad jewellery and took 350 hours to create.

However, it was Heidi Klum’s Very Sexy Fantasy Bra by the same designer in 2003 that made it into the Guinness World Records for being the most expensive bra ever.

The German supermodel, 45, walked the catwalk in an 11 million dollar bra, the equivalent of 7.1 million pounds, containing the second largest diamond in the world.

Inspired by the lights of Broadway, the bra featured 2,809 white diamonds as well as yellow-orange sapphires, rhodolite and amethysts.
