WATCH: Bride's perfect wedding day is ruined when best man does THIS
The bride and groom were moments away from becoming husband and wife when the unfortunate happening occurred.
The wedding took place in a beautiful garden, and the spot the two were to be wed was on a platform overlooking a swimming pool.
Standing alongside the marriage officiant was the bride and groom, the best man and a single bridesmaid.
After the vows were said and done it was time for the best man to bring forward the rings.
But neither he, or the bride and groom, could have predicted what would happen next.
As he tried to climb the step up to the couple, reaching into his pocket for the rings at the same time, he slipped, and fell on his front.
As he tumbled, he knocked into the bride, who then fell straight back into the pool, dragging the marriage officiant along with her.
The best man and groom were left scrambling on their knees trying to fish the pair out.
Wedding days should be all about the bride and groom – but a guest who attended one newly married couple’s big day had other plans.
A newly wed couple were enjoying one of the best days of their lives, strutting their stuff on the dance floor and having a good time, when suddenly disaster stuck.
The moment was caught on film by someone capturing the day’s events – but one woman probably now wishes the cameras were never rolling.
Just as the cameraman zoomed in to capture the bride and groom’s intimate moment, one of the guests, a woman wearing a red dress, entered the frame.
Amongst other couples dancing, she wanted to demonstrate how much of a good time she was having alone, and decided to dance with one of the poles holding up the marquee.
She jumped up on the pole, wrapping her legs around it, but her joke didn’t work out the way she wanted it to.
As soon as she mounted the pole, it came tumbling down, and the whole of the marquee came crashing down on everybody inside.
The cameraman was unable to keep a steady hand and chaos erupted inside the tent.
The woman certainly made sure the day would be remembered – even if it was for the wrong reasons.
