Meghan Markle stunned tonight in a black Emilia Wickstead dress at a party in Dublin.

The Duchess of Sussex was seen sipping Champagne at the event while showing off her enormous engagement ring.

She wore a black dress with a wide belt to accentuate her waist.

She matched with a black Givenchy clutch bag and amber and diamond earrings.

Once again the Duchess opted to wear the French brand, which is led by British designer Clare Waight Keller.

Did Sophie Countess of Wessex copy Meghan Markle’s Ascot look?

Meghan’s Emilia Wickstead dress is a made-to-measure design, but dresses by the designer can sell for as much at £2,000.

A favourite designer of Kate Middleton’s, Emilia Wickstead was said to have criticised Meghan’s wedding dress

It was reported by the Daily Mail that another British designer Emilia Wickstead, 34, had criticised the fit of the dress and claimed it was a copy.

The designer spoke out on her Instagram account to address the reports.

She wrote: “I am extremely saddened by the commentary that has appeared in the press and on-line over the past few days.

“Her Royal Highness, the Duchess of Sussex looked absolutely beautiful on her wedding day and I have the utmost admiration and respect for her.”

Meghan added Aquazzura ‘Deneuve’ pumps, which cost £543, to her look.

A change from ealier in the day, Meghan’s hair as loose and curled, a style favoured by her sister-in-law the Duchess of Cambridge.

Meghan wore the Birks Muse Citrine and Diamond Drop Earrings, which cost $3,475 CAD or £1996.96.

Meghan Markle slipped into a slinky green ensemble to arrive in Dublin.

Meghan wore the country’s national colour in a predictable move.

Women with diplomatic roles such as Kate Middleton and Melania Trump often take to this tactic when visiting foreign countries.

Meghan’s outfit appeared to consist of a simple long sleeve t-shirt. She then added a green pencil skirt by Givency worth over £1,000.

The couple were captured by cameras entering the party, with Meghan reaching for her new husband’s hand.

Kensington Palace tweeted in image of Meghan in coversation with a party-goer.

The Palace captioned the picture: “The Duchess of Sussex meets Irish writer, academic and broadcaster Sinead Burke at a @BritEmbDublin reception #RoyalVisitIreland.”

Prince Harry smiled as he met Irish rugby player Brian O’Driscoll.

Earlier today the couple met Taoiseach Leo Varadkar. Una Mullally, a journalist and advocate for same sex marriage revealed she spoke to Meghan Markle about abortion rights for women in Ireland.

She tweeted: “Great to chat with Meghan Markle, Duchess Of Sussex, about Repeal and the importance of her feminist activism.

“So important to have people in her position championing women’s rights. Total sounder!”
