You won’t BELIEVE how many MILLIONS Robert Downey Jr made for Spider-Man Homecoming cameo

The 53-year-old megastar has just seen his eighth outing as Iron Man break $1 billion in record time, but just how much is he earning for these Marvel movies?

Well back when he shot the first Iron Man in 2007, Downey Jr made a relatively modest – by Hollywood standards anyway – $500,000 before raking in as much as $10 million for the sequel a couple of years later.

And by the time the first Avengers movie came around in 2012, he’s said to have taken $50 million.

But what about a cameo? The Avengers Infinity War star appeared for just 15 minutes of screen time in last year’s Spider-Man Homecoming.

Downey Jr’s Tony Stark played father figure/mentor to Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in the movie and made a killing for his cameo.

According to Variety, Downey Jr made $10 million for the appearance as Iron Man.

That’s the same amount Leonardo DiCaprio is making for Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and Chris Pratt for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

And those actors are the actual stars of their movies. So what will he take for Avengers Infinity War and its sequel Avengers 4?

According to Variety, Craig will pocket a cool $25million for the 25th movie in the main franchise.

This puts him comfortably ahead of Johnson’s $22million for for 2020’s Red Notice or Vin Diesel’s $20million for last year’s Fate of the Furious.

It has also been reported that Craig will take a cut of the film’s profits, with one estimate boldly claiming he could bank as much as $100million overall.
