Akon confirms UK and EU tour kicking off in April – and tickets are out soon

Akon, the Senegalese-American singer, rapper, and artist, is finally making his way back to the UK this year.

After selling more than 35 million albums worldwide, and writing more than 40 Billboard Hot 100 tracks, Akon is keen to get back on the stage.

As a result, the Locked Up singer will be hitting the UK on an extensive tour of the country, before adventuring to mainland Europe where he’ll continue to play some of the biggest venues on the continent on his Superfan tour.

Along his journey, Akon will be playing London, Manchester, Birmingham and more, before arriving in Paris, Hamburg, Copenhagen, and many, many more.

Speaking out about making his return across the pond, Akon said: “I hope my UK and European fans are ready for a show filled with good music and energy!”

Akon added: “It’s been 10 years since I’ve done shows out here, so I cannot wait!”

Fans are sure to have a Beautiful time on this tour, but they’ll need to act Right Now (Na Na Na…?) if they want to get involved.
