Jo Malone turns to body spray

Last year she introduced us to the Fragrance Paintbrush, this year Jo Malone MBE is making body spray classy.

Forget the saccharine sweet body spritz of your teenage years, the Jo Loves Fragrance Body Spray collection (£40; joloves.com) is about as far from the locker-room staple as you could hope it to be.

In golden grapefruit and heady tuberose, timeless vetiver and contemporary fig, the inspiration was the cans of paints used by street artists (think Banksy rather than the kids defacing your local train station) so you can graffiti your body in scent.

Maintain a Rapunzel finish with Kreastase

Always fancied Rapunzel-style locks but not been able to get your hair to grow the additional inches?

It might be worth upgrading your shampoo and conditioner.

The Kérastase Résistance Extentioniste range (from £19.50; kerastase.co.uk) uses an exclusive complex, Creatine R, to reinforce the structure and surface of the hair fibre, to maintain elasticity and strength.

Micro trend

What: This year at Coachella the hair trend that stood out was adornment. From charms to hair rings to clustered bobby pins, each look was unique but the recurring theme at the festival was hair accessories.

Top tip: “Embrace your hair’s natural texture and wear it loosely, without too much structure, then add an embellishment as the finishing touch,” says ghd guest artist Patrick Wilson.

Try: ghd Heat Protect Spray with UV Protection (£13; ghdhair.com) to keep exposed scalp safe in the sun.

Findation with Space NK

Sheer or full coverage, dewy or matt, powder or liquid?

When it comes to looking flawless it really is all about the base, but the seemingly endless options in the world of foundation can be bamboozling.

Step forward Space NK’s excellent online “findation” tool, which narrows the field based on your skin tone, type, desired finish (matt, natural or radiant) and weight of coverage.

Prefer the human touch? Advisers are on hand in-store to help you find your perfect match.

While you’re there check out new launches from some of our favourite brands, including Becca Ultimate Coverage 24 Hour Foundation (£32) and Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder (£36; both spacenk.com).
