Cara Delevingne thanks firefighters after cats rescued from her burning home
Cara Delevingne has praised firefighters after her two cats were rescued from a huge blaze that ripped through her Hollywood mansion.
Her Studio City home, reportedly worth $7m (£5.5m), was engulfed in flames and smoke on Friday morning, causing the roof to collapse.
It took 94 firefighters more than two hours to extinguish the blaze, which gutted much of the property and left it burned and smoking.
The British-born model and actress feared her beloved cats had been lost in the fire, but has now posted pictures on Instagram of the cats apparently safe and sound.
“They are alive! Thank you to the firefighters,” she said in an Instagram story.
Delevingne, 31, shared an image of one of the felines being carried by a firefighter, wrapped up safe in a blanket.

The blaze near Fryman Canyon Park was reported at about 4am when firefighters were called to the area, Sky’s US partner, NBC, said.
Flames and smoke were seen rising from the burning two-floor house and could be seen from nearby freeways.
One firefighter was said to be stable in hospital after sustaining an injury involving a ladder, while the occupant suffered minor smoke inhalation, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).
