Carnival Cruise Line’s “Agentpalooza” bus tour made its second stop in New Orleans this weekend, and Vice President of Sales & Trade Marketing Adolfo Perez decided to showcase Carnival’s commitment to travel agents in stunning fashion.

Much to the delight of the agents in attendance, Perez had “Travel Agents Rock” permanently tattooed on his upper arm.

The entire process was streamed live on Facebook.

Announced last month, the eight-day Agentpalooza bus tour, which Perez is hosting, kicked off Thursday in Houston and is scheduled to visit Charleston (May 15), Atlanta (May 16) and Jacksonville (May 17) before wrapping up in Orlando May 18.

Each stop on the tour features multiple attractions geared toward travel agents, including entertainment areas and an “At Your Service” space where agents can meet one on one with members of Carnival’s sales leadership team. There’s also a “Community Impact” area where participants can give back to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, as well as local food banks.

Prizes are given away at each stop.

“Visiting agents on a bus tour is an excellent way to cover a great deal of ground at once with numerous team members and to do what we do best – work with agents on providing the best sales and service we can while having a great time along the way,” Perez said in a statement ahead of the tour.

Those who can’t make the tour can still follow along and participate online via GoCCL.com and Carnival’s trade Facebook page.

With Perez whipping out the tattoo machine at stop No. 2 and four more stops still remaining, there are likely plenty more surprises to come.
