Duchess of Cambridge steps out looking SLEEK in eye-catching red suit
She stepped out with her husband, the Prince William, as they undertook charity work.
The duo were photographed outside the Mitchell Brook Primary School, north London, as they attended the Place2Be Big Assembly with Heads Together for Children’s Mental Health Week.
The Big Assembly, on the theme of kindness, is one of many being held at primary schools across the UK to mark Children’s Mental Health Week.
Kate’s red suit featured round black buttons and a black bow belt, highlighting her tiny waist.
Despite her efforts, Kate, 35, lost out to her brother in-law who came in first followed by William who came second thanks to the encouragement of well-wishers at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London.
But there were no hard feelings…
William and Kate laughed and hugged on the finish line, while Harry patted his brother on the back.
They had turned out to support a training day for runners taking part in this year’s London Marathon.
Each royal had a team of runners in the relay, which included athlete Paul Radcliffe.
In a speech, William joked he was “the only elite athlete runner between the three of us [royals] to say a few words”.
Kate had also opted for red during the race, wearing a bright red puffed jacket and sleek black leggings.
Wearing her hair down to arrive, she tied it back into a loose ponytail to compete in the race.
