Henry Cavill is the next James Bond in concept trailer with Margot Robbie fans are loving

It’s been almost 20 years since Henry Cavill came second in the next James Bond auditions to Daniel Craig.

At the time considered too young for the role in his early twenties, the future Superman missed out on starring in Casino Royale, but has continued to be a bookies’ favourite to this day.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson may be rumoured to have bagged the part for Bond 26, but an AI concept trailer imagining Cavill in the part is getting a lot of attention.

Posted by KH Studio this week, the fake film trailer which co-stars Margot Robbie has so far scored over 2.5 million views on YouTube.

Fans in the comments section are praising the teaser, ever hopeful that the 40-year-old be cast as the next Bond.

One fan wrote: “Henry Cavill bloody well owns the role! He is perfect! Powerful sexy and ultra classy. Shaken not stirred needs that man!!!!! Bond on steroids!” Another commented: “Can someone please start a petition to make Henry the next James Bond? I have nothing against Aaron Taylor but will all know Henry was the best fit for this.”
