Ivanka Trump, 36, attended a reception ahead of the moving of the US Israeli Embassy to Jerusalem, and later posted pictures of the event on her Instagram.

The First Daughter of US President Donald Trump wore almost exactly the same look as Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu’s wife, Sara Netanyahu, 59.

With their matching blonde coiffed locks and black knee length outfits, the two women looked like sisters.

Ivanka appeared to have made a strategic choice in her choice of all black outfit, mirroring Sara’s habit of wearing black on public appearances.

Like Sara, Ivanka went for a knee length black dress paired with black court shoes.

The resemblance could have stopped there, but Ivanka chose to go one step further.

She also mirrored Sara’s signature hairstyle, wearing her usually straight blonde shoulder length hair in tight curls.

The apparent twinning of Ivanka and Sara provided a distraction from the controversial US political move.

The UK Prime Minister Theresa May has described Donald’s decision as “unhelpful in terms of prospects for peace in the region”.

Ivanka’s all-black dress was made more glamorous by a sparkle detail on the skirt, while Sara opted for lace long sleeves instead.

Donald’s daughter also wore a black double breasted blazer with satin lapels to cover her arms.

She was accompanied by husband Jared Kushner, 37, who wore a navy suit for the occasion.

Melania Trump, 48, adopted a similar tactic to Ivanka when Emmanuel Macron, 40, and Brigitte Macron, 65, visited the White House.

Melania and Brigitte both bared their legs in short skirts as they crossed the famous lawn.

The Presidents’ wives looked like twins with their bare tanned legs and short hemlines.

They walked behind their husbands on a public appearance to plant a tree near the West Wing of the famous political building.

Both women showed off stunning long tanned legs as they walked alongside each other.

Melania wore a black cape style coat which came to midway down her thigh.

The former model showed off her long legs as she stepped out among the cameras.

Meanwhile, Brigitte defied her age in a cream coat which stopped some way above her knees.
